Where to Spend a Hot Afternoon Indoors Around Michiana | Cressy & Everett Real Estate

The summer sun is beautiful, but some afternoons are just too hot to spend outside! On those particularly stuffy afternoons, it's nice to enjoy an indoor activity with friends or family members. Luckily, there are plenty of family fun centers in the South Bend and St. Joseph areas. Here are a few top spots our real estate agents recommend.

  • Strikes & Spares Entertainment Center - 5419 N. Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545
If you're in the area looking at Mishawaka homes for sale, stop by Strikes & Spares Entertainment Center for some fun. Here, you'll find an indoor go-kart track, bowling, and Glo-Golf. The bowling is some of the best in the area with automatic bumpers and touch-screen scoring. Strikes & Spares also features an arcade, where games are playable with a refillable swipe card. Or, if you're feeling particularly strong, try the Ninja Course, which is fitted with obstacles to challenge your fitness. There's even a bounce house for children ages 12 and under.

  • Ninja Golf - 12080 Adams Road, Granger, IN 46530
Ninja Golf is like the next generation of mini golf courses. They offer three different courses, totaling 27 holes. The courses are inspired by gardens, so the scenery is both fun and beautiful. The facility also offers a Throwing Star Challenge for all skill levels. Another key attraction at Ninja Golf is the café, which offers a selection of unique Japanese snacks, sodas, and teas. Just don't forget to look at some Granger homes for sale nearby.

  • King's Play Cafe - 1022 W. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, IN 64545
    King's Play Cafe
is a great place to visit with younger children. They have a huge indoor playground, imagination stations, and padded play areas. The climbing walls are tried-and-true favorites, as are the slides. At King's Play Cafe, parents can relax in the coffee area while the little ones play. There's also a cereal bar where guests of all ages can fill their bowls with munchable treats. Buy a summer pass for $99, and you can visit all you want.

  • Slacker's Family Fun Center - 1155 Vineland Road, St. Joseph, MI 49085
If you're looking at St. Joseph homes for sale and find yourself in the mood for some laser tag, head to Slacker's Family Fun Center. Their Laser Tag Adventure features neon-lit obstacles and high-tech gear. Slacker's also has a Bounce House area with several houses. Just remember to wear socks! There's also an arcade area, with classic games like Pac-Man and newer VR titles.

  • Curious Kids' Museum - 415 Lake Blvd., St. Joseph, MI 49085
    Curious Kids' Museum
is a great place for kids to play and learn. There are so many interactive, creative activities that teach kids about geology, biology, space, and much more. The activities and displays span two floors. Kids particularly love the Curious Kids' Veterinarian Clinic, where kids can learn to safely and respectfully care for animals. The simulated farmers' market is also popular.

  • Survival Mode Escape Games - 3820 M-139, St. Joseph, MI 49085
Put your problem-solving skills to the test at Survival Mode Escape Games. They have zombie-themed rooms, Bigfoot-themed rooms, and more. Book your experience in advance on the company's website. They have rooms for anywhere from one to eight players. Each room gives you an estimated completion time when you book.

We hope you get to enjoy some time at an indoor fun center this summer. Don't hesitate to contact us if you're looking for St. Joseph or South Bend homes for sale. We're here to help!
